No!: Any attempt at corrective procedure to the cartilage portion of the ear ( the pinna) could very easily damage it, resulting in loss of ear structure, pain, and possibly infection. I would definitely recommend a plastic surgery specialist, for your own protection.

Pinning ears back: Is not something you would do at home. Is there some procedure that you are aware of that you can 'do it yourself'? If you have a newborn with protruding ears, molding them can be beneficial. When you are beyond the infant stage, surgery will be needed to pin them back.

Only for newborns: Ear reshaping or an "otoplasty" is more than just pinning the ear back. The ear is reshaped to conform with the normal ear contours. It is set back , so the ear does not protrude. Newborns cartilage is soft and can be reshaped using custom made molds. However, this will not wok for children or adults.
