I am a teacher and i walk around all day, i think i have plantar warts on my foot. it is right under my big toe, they are large warts. when i get them removed, will i need crutches since i walk around all day when im working?

It really depends on how they are removed-if they are treated chemically, then you will likely be able to bear weight on your foot. If the warts are removed by cutting them, then it depends on how deep they are if weight-bearing without crutches will be advised. You should ask the doctor doing the procedure if crutches will be needed. Good luck!

There are many different methods for caring of warts. You can choose less aggressive method to allow standing on your feet. Might take more office visits but you can continue to ambulate. Surgical removal is no guarantee the wart will be removed. All warts are into the deeper layers of the skin in the dermis as well as epidermis Caused by a virus. No cure for viruses.
