When TSH is low it means you have hyperthyroidism with high thyroxine level. If your TSH remains low with repeat testing, you will need a full work-up which should include a radioiodine uptake nuclear scan. I assume your T4 and/or T3 are also elevated. The other alternatives for methimazole are propylthiouracil (a medication) or partial thyroidectomy (surgery) or radioactive iodine therapy.
