Flovent inhaler is a steroid inhaler which will help with any inflammation of the airways. With either acute or chronic bronchitis, there is airway inflammation present so this inhaler will help decrease the airway inflammation which should decrease the cough. It will also help to decrease airway secretions by lessening the inflammation. Rinse and spit water after use to help prevent oral thrush.

Yes, there is a good chance that Flovent or fluticasone will help with the cough, it is becoming increasingly used for persistent cough following upper airway infections.
