Marijuana does not cause long QT syndrome; however, there are reports about marijuana causing life threatening arrhythmia in patients with prolonged QT so you should stop using marijuana immediately. Good luck.

Since prolongation of the QT interval causes vulnerability to dangerous cardiac arrhythmias, it is critical to avoid recreational drugs and be upfront with your doctor to aid in any needed interventions. If a cardiology consult has not been accomplished, suggest this be done immediately.
