A member asked:

How is olive oil for diabetic patients? can i use 3 to 4 tabel spoon daily in my meal? or for fry things and make grain bread with it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's OK: Olive oil is filled with good fats, and can be quite good for you, with the following cautions: olive oil is very calorie heavy. If you are overweight, use sparingly. Also, frying foods creates trans fats, which can be harmful. The best way to use olive oil is by drizzling it on foods you are baking, or as part of salad dressing (with basalmic vinegar). Hope this helps!
