Hi. my son taylor had virus 2 weeks ago & chest infection last week hes nearly finished amoxicillin for this. hes still sick but better. however school sent him home.he is still coughing but not as chesty i think.can't get a docs appnt. should i wait?

Depends : If he's breathing ok can probably wait until can get an appointment with doctor. Agree worth at least a re examination of the chest. If breathing troubles should be seen more urgently

Viral: Amoxicillin will not help viral infection . If getting better give it time and see GP for review when you can.
