A member asked:

So i was recently diagnosed with a meningioma. it was measured around 8mm in diameter and i have a follow up in 6 months to check for growth, i had a ct scan 2 years ago and they found nothing, should i worry about more rapid growth?

Meningiomas are rather slow growing and may even calcify over time. Unless you were to possess a rare malignant meningioma, there would be little more to be done than periodic imaging. It is your choice whether to obtain a second opinion regarding appropriate management.
