From what i was told from several people thyroid nodule biopsy its very painful whats the point of the numbing if you still feel pain ?

Procedural outcome is skill dependence. You should receive local anesthetic, preferably with both skin and percutaneous injection to the nodule location. Pain should be minimal or negligible if you are in good hand. Good luck to you.
