I had a pet scan, it showed a 1.7 squamish cell cancer in my left lung. they pulled fluid off my right lung and it showed no cancer cells.tumer is in my left lung. is it possible that in the right lung lymp node to be cancer?no color on ps?

The fact that there is a squamous cell tumor in the left long does not have any bearing on what is going on in the right lung. I would be curious, though, to try to understand why you have fluid in the right lung if there is no tumor there. It might be a discussion to have with your physicians. Good luck.

Always a possibility in the presence of cancer for enlarged lymph nodes anywhere in the body to be related. Causes other than cancer are always possible and work up is needed in case cancer involvement is ruled out.
