Bact. pneumonia, septic, required vats. hospitalized 2 wks. im 23 days post op still on abx. better but still fatigued, get winded easy, chest still feels slightly tight/clogged. xray not clear yet. no cough or fever. normal for such severe illness?

By the time someone gets pneumonia severe enough to also have sepsis, their recovery course is often prolonged. It doesn’t surprise me you still require antibiotics and that you still are short of breath. But, happy you’re alive and sounding as though you are improving. Hard to be patient in this setting, but there isn’t much choice. Good luck.
