Lump in breast confirmed by surgeon. not shown on mamo or ultrasound. ultrasound found 1 intramamary 8x5 lymph node. is the lymph node a concern?

Without more information, it’s impossible to know if the lymph node is important or not. Is the mass in your breast confirmed to be breast cancer? If so, the lymph node certainly would need to be biopsied or removed. If you are not scheduled for a definitive procedure for the mass, return to your surgeon immediately to make a plan. Good luck.
