I have migraines almost daily. fioricet & rizatriptan have been the only prescriptions that really help. my usage of fioricet as my frontline reliever is 5-10 pills most days. what are the likely and potential long-term health effects of this dosage?

You appear to have developed a Chronic Daily Migraine pattern, and this is almost certainly due to your use of Fioricet. To break up this process, obtain a second opinion from a neurologist who focuses on headaches. Your medication program is in need of significant modification, and this should be done under a doctor's supervision.
