My blood sugar is always in 180 to 200 mg/dl i have chronic diarrhea and also a severe sleep debt. did i became diabetic suddenly or is the lack of sleep elevating my sugar levels? will recovering my sleep bring glucose levels back to normal?

You likely have type 2 diabetes mellitus. Acute or chronic insomnia does not cause type 2 diabetes mellitus. Please see a doctor for a definite diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Good luck.

Lack of sleep does not cause diabetes mellitus. If your blood sugars are persistently elevated, it is likely that you are developing diabetes. You should see your primary care doctor for further evaluation and treatment. Good luck.
