My niece was sitting on my lap when she decided to jump up. when she did, she hit my adams apple. at the moment, it hurt really bad, but the pain only lasted a second. now my throat just feels sore. should i be concerned?

If you have a voice quality change, cough up blood, have difficulty swallowing, you should be seen immediately by ER and/0r ENT. Laryngeal fractures are quite infrequent, but do occur
