The left side of my throat, next to my adams apple is tender to touch, it doesn't hurt to swallow and there is no visible swelling, should i be scared?

Possibly: It might be muscular, inflamed lymph node, thyroid nodule, or carotid inflammation. Continue to monitor but if still sore after 2-3 weeks see md.
