Good morning doctors. if i had a urinalysis w/o microscopy and the results were within normal limits, should the results still be sent out to a laboratory for microscopic urinalysis, or is this unnecessary?

It depends on what was considered in the differential diagnosis for your symptoms by the ordering doc, many times ordered with microscopic, it sounds like in your case it was intended without microscopic.
