Shingles and its symptoms are not typically associated with menstrual irregularities. Shingles can cause a tingling or burning sensation in the affected area before the rash appears on the torso or face. The distribution follows the dermatomal segments radiating round from the spine where the virus lives.

Different things. Shingles involves the nerve that goes around your ribs and may cause the ticklish sensation in front, should not cross the midline to the other side and only affects a limited patch of skin if due to shingles only. The delay in the period may be due to the current medical condition and/or others, pregnancy always of concern.
