Had a neck ultrasound for a swollen lymph node . doctor confirmed it was a reactive node but no further testing needed . in notes it says he found a u2 tiny node in thyroid gland . do i need to worry about this ? is it common in my age group ?

Women in your age group can develop thyroid nodules. A size under 1 cm is almost always benign. Nevertheless I recommend a followup ultrasound in 3 months but an endocrinologist can advise you best..

Went to the doc for cold sore and enlarged neck lymph node. Its been 2.5 weeks lymph node still enlarged. Ultrasound says bilateral reactive lymph nodes. All blood work normal. Any ideas why its still enlarged? I think it feels a bit smaller?
