Circulation: Cold blue toes are a circulation issue. At your age, it is unlikely to be closing of the major arteries. More likely is raynaud's phenomenon. Cold or damp conditions will cause the nerves that control blood flow through the small vessels to the hands and feet to slow it. Keep them warm and dry. A glass of wine actually helps. If it persists, consider calcium blocker medication in cold weather.
