Very good afternoon doctors. i am having both a renal kidney ultrasound and a ct scan of the kidneys and bladder and possibly abdomen. do i need to do any special preparations beforehand? do i fast, or not drink water before? do drink water before?

Most of the time, you would not need any fasting or special preparation prior to either of those tests, but if the Doctor Who is ordering the tests requests you to prepare yourself in a certain way, you should follow through with that. The doctor should explain in detail how to prepare for it. If not, you should call them. Good luck.
