I am 40 w history of 3 stones. Had lithotripsy to remove stone in right Kidney 4 mths ago. Follow up US normal, but now have mild intermittent pain on left side. blood shows BUN of 20 (high end of normal) & Creatine of 1.09 (past ~1.0). Significant?

Does kidney failure typically cause urine pH fluctuations & protien in urine, but normal bun and creatine?
Isn't it impossible for someone to have end stage renal failure with consistently normal bun and creatine blood levels and only protien in urine?
My bun was a 10 and my creatine was 0.8. Could i still have kidney failure or would those levels have to be high? I have protein in urine regularly!
