I am 40 w history of 3 stones. Had lithotripsy to remove stone in right Kidney 4 mths ago. Follow up US normal, but now have mild intermittent pain on left side. blood shows BUN of 20 (high end of normal) & Creatine of 1.09 (past ~1.0). Significant?
BUN increased from 9 to 21. I would like to know if taking creatine and/or increasing protein would affect the BUN blood markers for kidney health? Every other marker for kidney was normal?
Does kidney failure typically cause urine pH fluctuations & protien in urine, but normal bun and creatine?
