I've got a fractured vertebrae and i took 2 tylenol and 3 hours later it still hurts real bad i took 1 vicodin 3-5 i didn't realize this could cause side effects what are they?

Because vicodin also contains tylenol so you are taking a higher dose of tylenol than recommended in a period of 3 hours; however, it is just one time so you will not get acetaminophen (tylenol) toxicity. Do not worry to much for now but do not to exceed 2 -3 gm of tylenol (6 tablets of 500 mg tablet) for 24 hours if you have to take it for a while. Take care.
