Apologies for not including this, the response to my previous question regarding a chronic cough was cough-variant asthma, however, i also have slight wheezing once the budesonide has worn off, and after exercise. is this still cough-variant asthma?

You have bronchial asthma and chronic cough is just one sign besides wheezing which is precipitated with exercise or when you are off steroid inhaler. We use the term cough variant asthma when chronic cough is the only symptom. I wonder if you had a PFT and methacholine test done for confirming bronchial asthma. Good luck.
