It is called ectopic heart beats and it is not uncommon. Certain food or drink can precipitate ectopic beats such as strong coffee or tea. If you are healthy then there is nothing to concern, just identify and avoid the triggers. However, if you have underlying medical problems such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, thyroid disorder, etc., you should be evaluated by your family doctor.
