An EKG is inadequate to evaluate your symptoms unless you're experiencing them while hooked up to the EKG. You should be scheduled for an outpatient cardiac monitoring for 48 hours or more if needed to capture your symptoms. This will show your heart rates& rhythms to determine whether you're experiencing significant cardiac arrhythmias. Your should also consult a cardiologist for other testing.
