30 y/o male has profound weakness, unable to get up from bed somedays. no medical hx. blood test normal, no anemia, thyroid normal, b12 normal. also has indigestion/abdominal discomfort. what can cause weakness that patient cannot get up from bed?

There are many other medical conditions that may cause profound weakness, work up should continue starting with the gi symptoms, imaging may be needed. Gradual physical exercise helps in majority of cases, specifically when fatigue follows an acute condition that results in lingering symptoms and deconditioning.
