Hello. i was walking, while wearing slippers that had a rip on the big toe, while also wearing socks that were a bit weak fabric and seen blood on the floor. i avoided, but i am still nervous about hiv. say i did step on it, would i contract hiv?

HIV cannot be transmitted through above mentioned mechanism, the virus does not live on inanimate surfaces or in the air. There is still a risk for transmission for other germs and the wound should be watched closely until healed.
