Im trying to work on deep breathing for my anxiety. how long are you suppose to do it for? and how much is to much? i seen that you can over breathe and cause more issues. so now im anxious about deep breathing. can you help?

If you take slow, deep breaths it should decrease your anxiety by around 5-10 breaths. If you start to feel light-headed or dizzy, then stop doing it but if you breathe slowly and deeply, you should be ok and it should be helpful. You can see a psychiatrist for further treatment of your anxiety. Good luck to you!
