HSV2 is a DNA virus known to hibernate in the body after initial outbreak. It is associated with both common "cold sores" near the mouth or genital infections. By itself an antibody test on the blood just indicates a past infection with that strain of the virus. It doesn't indicate where. Some kids get cold sores in childhood and will have detectable antibodies in adulthood.

The details of your positive HSV2 blood test are critical here: many technically positive results are false, especially if the numerical value is low. See an expert in STDs or infectious diseases. Good luck. (This is why HSV blood tests are not recommended in people without symptoms that suggest herpes. The test results often are false.)
