: Pleuritic pain is due to inflammation of the lining of the lung. This can take quite a while to completely resolve but it typically begins to feel better day by day. If you can take ibuprofen, this has anti-inflammatory properties and it can help ease the discomfort. Take it with food to avoid stomach issues. Good luck to you!
