Pneumonia: I know this won't be the answer you want, but I don't know nearly enough to be able to tell you when you can return to work. It's best you ask the doctor who took care of you in the hospital.

When people experience a severe illness a general rule of thumb is that it takes at least 3 days for every day that your in the hospital to re-cooperate. It would typically be a month for a week hospitalization , 6 weeks at least for 2 weeks, of course that requires therapy and no other underlying illness or sequelae. It is best to be patient and follow your Doctors advice for when you can retu
