Folliculitis on the upper back near spine. one itchy and red pimple with a little white pus in the middle. leave it alone or should i do something about it like warm/wet compress? or what else? does clindamycin gel work against it?

Just leave it alone but you can apply cold pack if needed for itching. Take care.
