Unfortunately, this is common: Up to 15% of young adults with infectious mononucleosis suffer ongoing symptoms (primarily fatigue) for up to 6 months. It's not abnormal, just bad luck -- and it isn't dangerous or a sign of more serious problems later. Almost always it eventually clears up. Keep working with your doctors, or see an infectious diseases specialist if not already doing so. Good luck!
