Sinus pressure can cause a dripping sensation in the head. When the sinuses become congested, the mucus can build up and create pressure in the sinus cavities. This pressure can then cause the mucus to drip down into the back of the throat, resulting in a post-nasal drip sensation. Additionally, the pressure in the sinus cavities can also cause a feeling of fullness or pressure near the ears.
