45 f. i have iron deficiency anemia and lpr (silent reflux) that causes a burning throat. so i need to take an iron supplement but these can cause worse reflux because they affect the les. should i still take the iron supplements? its a dilemma?

For as long as you address the reflux with medical and non-medical measures, a trial of oral iron products should be attempted as there are many options, many multivitamin products have iron in excess as well. In case none tolerated, iv iron infusions can be arranged under your doc’s direction in case needed.
