Why does advil take my headache/migraine away, but tylenol dulls the pain for a few hours but then the next day/few hours later, the headache comes back. i thought tylenol was better for headaches but it seems like advil works better for me?

In general, ibuprofen (advil, motrin) is a better analgesic than acetaminophen (tylenol) but it carries more adverse effects. Take care.
