Mucus in stool could occur under that circumstance and isn't usually a sign of a serious problem unless it is copious. If you still have concerns, consult a proctologist or gastroenterologist.

It is not unusual to see a slight bit of mucus with the stool. If you notice an acute change in your bowel habits or any blood with them, you should see your doctor or a gastroenterologist. Good luck.
