I'm 21 years old,I had done sigmoidoscopy due to mucus and narrow stool which was normal,my doctor recommended IBS tablets for one month but I still experiencing stomach pain and back pain,some seed like black spots ,can I go for full colonoscopy?
I have had tiny bit of mucus on and off in stool for almost a year. Drs say it is likely IBS. No blood or worsening symptoms. I have been afraid to do a colonoscopy or CT colonoscopy. I had negative FIT test last year. Are there other alternatives?
