A member asked:

Can you take amoxicillin and augmentin at the same time?

Augmentin is just amoxicillin with an added partner drug. I see no value in using both at the same time. Your prescribing doc should tailor your treatment based on the specific need. If you are self treating using someone eases meds I would use only one of these.

No, as you are using the same antibiotic and doubling up on Amoxicillin. Talk to your prescriber, try not to self treat based on previous experiences.
