I've been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for 3years by gastro dr i'm still having severe bleeding, pain he proscribed xeljanz,balsalszide,prednisone i'm very exhausted i ate activated does this aggregate it more. certain food irritate help?

You should get back in touch with your doctor. If you notice certain foods seem to irritate you more, you should avoid those foods. Everyone is different on what foods cause more symptoms. Hope you feel better soon!

If you are still having bleeding and symptoms of your UC despite the treatment that you are currently on, you should return to the gastroenterologist to see what the next step should be. UC is usually a treatable disease. Good luck.
