Although Aleve, like any NSAID, can cause stomach upset, it may or may not be the cause of your heartburn symptoms. You can try using some Mylanta or Tums to see if it gives any immediate relief, and even a trial of omeprazole for a few days. If the heartburn remains persistent, see your primary care doctor or a G.I. doctor. Good luck.
