I'm experiencing a pain in the top of my stomach fallowed by burning that comes and goes all day. it hurts but its not heart burn.is it bacterial infe?

Possible ulcer: This could represent peptic ulcer disease and yes it can be caused by bacteria called H.pylori. There can be other causes of this pain also. You would need to see a doctor because there are ways of determining if you have this bacteria -- blood test or breathe test or endoscopy . It can then be treated and the theory is that one can actually cure an ulcer.
