Abd pain = get seen: Abdominal pain has many possible causes, some quite serious. When abdominal pain is severe, it is very important to get it checked out in person. If primary care physician's office is closed, then an urgent care center may be appropriate, or, if there is a fever of 101 or inability to have a bowel movement or confusion, ER or a 911 call (if unable to get someone else to drive) may be appropriate.
