Dx w/sleep apnea & asthma 7m ago. Using cpap nightly. CBC shows rbcs 5.93 & hct 52.7. What could be causing this? Also have afib on Coumadin.
Dx obst sleep apnea in 2019.If not using CPAP may awaken with a single grating inhalation (stridor?) followed by normal breathing.Internet says stridor not typical in OSA &suggests Mult Syst Atrophy.No other obvious symptoms of MSA.Cause for concern?
Neurologist did labs in dx'ing sleep apnea blood iron was 28.0 he never said anything about but vit. D was low and did prescribe is it a worry if this value is low? Worried as low iron causes look scary or is it alone not useful like some other labs?
What can be reason of my mildly elevated metanephrines and normetanephrines. I have excessive daytime sleepiness, tiredness. All other labs normal. Can Sleep apnea cause such stress response to raise these levels?
