Balanitis can be caused by a yeast infection obtained from having intercourse with a partner who has a vaginal yeast infection. If this doesn't pertain to you & you're not circumcised then be extra vigilant about good hygiene of the glans & under the foreskin. If you haven't been examined by a urologist, consult one for evaluation and advice.

Hello Doctor as I told I have balanitis and you told me to use Cortisone cream and Im using it for a week but I still have redness, dark, swollen skin in the penis how long to use the cream and how many times a day to remove the dark skin completely?
Doctor Suggested applying a antifungal cream and then a antibacterial on top of each other to treat balanitis? Is it safe to put them both on at once? The fugal is Lotrimin and the bacterial Im not sure about. Will this cause long term penis damage?
