Zofran (Ondansetron) is a serotonin antagonist (5-HT3) and not an anti-cholinergic, safe in geriatric patients. Compazine is a dopamine antagonist, and unsafe for geriatrics. Scopolamine is anti-cholinergic and Benadryl, Dramamine, and Antivert are anti-histamines. These should be avoided in geriatrics based on the Beers Criteria.

Things like cardamom, mint, peppermint also help with nausea. Compazine when taken as needed and prescribed is does not harm older or any age women. Hope you feel better
