As prescribed: Always take medications as prescribed by doctor. Your pharmacist can also chime in. Zofran (ondansetron) is an antiemetic. Check out http://www.drugs.com/dosage/zofran.html. Dosing regimens differ depending upon known cause but 8mg every 8hrs as needed is noted at www.epocrates.com for nausea/vomiting related to gastroenteritis.
