I was recently in the hospital due to preterm labor they did a urine culture on me and it showed that i have streptococcus a in my urine ive never had this before but have frequent utis which i am being treated for?

Your post does not ask a clear question. Strep A is not a common test finding in that setting, was it strep B, which is common and places baby at increased risk if present at the time of delivery? You are welcome to start over and clarify the problem and provide a clear question.

Staph is usually a contaminant . Pl repeat the culture with a clean catch mid stream specimen
